For the transport of limited quantities of hazardous substances, the so-called 1000-points scheme can be used. Transport under this scheme excludes some ADR requirements, hence we also speak about a limited exemption. This exemption can only be used for groupage transport, this is packaging such as cylinders, large packages and IBCs. The exemption does not apply to bulk transport (tank and bulk transport)
